Terms & Conditions - A Scottish Law Contract between Churchill Drilling Tools (Rentals) Ltd and the Company/Customer. Rental is subject to availability and shall apply from dispatch until return to our warehouse premises. There is a minimum charge of 10 Days rental and rental charges shall still apply if the order is cancelled in transit.

DELIVERY: All transportation to and from the rig and back to Churchill Drilling Tools premises is at Company’s expense, where organised by Churchill this will be charged at cost plus 15%.

RUN CHARGE: if run below the rotary table this charge will be levied to ensure that the tool can be inspected & redressed to the proper certified standards on its return.

LOST/LOST IN HOLE: This fee will be due if tool is lost while in the Company’s care. (This is not subject to the Company’s normal depreciation rates)

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: Rental of the tool gives IP rights for use of that tool only. No other IP rights shall accrue to Company.

OWNERSHIP AND RISK. Although the Equipment may be in possession of the Company, ownership remains with Contractor. Risk shall be with Company whilst Equipment is in Company’s care, custody and control.

COMPANY SERVICE ORDER TERMS & CONDITIONS. Churchill Drilling Tools (Rentals) Ltd will comply with all Company’s standard service order terms and conditions with respect to Quality Assurance, Insurances, and Invoicing/Payment procedures. Churchill Drilling Tools (Rentals) Ltd maximum liability for any default under this delivery shall be limited to the value of the order. Said limit shall represent the Churchill Drilling Tools (Rentals) Ltd total maximum liability under contract, in tort or otherwise at law. Where conflicting, above terms to take precedence.
